How to scan a document
- Tap Take a photo. On a phone this opens your camera. On a computer, choose a photo of the page.
- DocSlim finds the page edges. Drag the corners if they need adjusting, then tap Add page.
- Add more pages if you need to, pick a filter, and tap Save scan.
Clean scans from your phone
DocSlim finds the edges of the paper, straightens the page so it isn't tilted, and cleans it up. The Document filter turns the background white and the text dark, even with shadows or uneven light, so the result looks like it came from a real scanner.
Tips for the best scan
- Put the paper on a dark, plain surface so the edges stand out.
- Use daylight or a bright room, and avoid your phone's shadow.
- Hold the phone above the page so the whole sheet is in the photo.
- Need a size limit? Enter it in Max size and the PDF or JPG will fit.
