DocSlim is licensed to you under Apple's standard licence for App Store apps, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The points below are a plain summary of how DocSlim works. If anything here seems to conflict with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins.

The online tools

The free tools on docslim.in run in your browser and are provided on the same basis as the app: as they are, for your own use. Everything below about checking your form's rules and keeping copies of your files applies to them too.

Price

DocSlim and the online tools are free to use. This version has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads.

If I add paid features in a later version, I'll update these terms before that version comes out, and any price will be shown clearly in the app before you pay.

Check your form's rules

The presets in DocSlim, like "photo under 50 KB" or "signature 20 KB", are based on common limits. Every form is different, and forms change their rules. Please check the instructions of the form you're filling. DocSlim tries hard to hit the size you ask for, but I can't promise a particular portal will accept a file, and I'm not responsible for a rejected or late application.

Your files are your responsibility

Files you make in DocSlim stay on your device. Keep copies of anything important somewhere else too, because deleting the app or losing the phone loses the files. Only scan and share documents you have the right to use.

The app as it is

I work hard to keep DocSlim reliable, but it's provided as it is, without extra guarantees beyond what the law and Apple's licence give you. Features may change between versions.

The DocSlim name

DocSlim and the DocSlim logo are trademarks of Om Bhagwan. Please don't use them for your own app, website or service, or in a way that suggests you're connected with DocSlim. The design, text and code of this website and the app are protected by copyright.
